Congratulations to our most recent Visy Logistics team members to upgrade to their heavy combination (HC) licences: Nicole Phillips (pictured), Rosalie Davis (pictured), Denise Renfrew (pictured), Sylvana Roden and Kate Bevan.
Nicole, Rosalie, Sylvana and Kate were all participants in our inaugural in-house Female Driver Trainee program in 2021.
As Nicole said, “Moving from the heavy rigid licence to the heavy combination licence has been a really good and positive transition for me and it seemed to be the natural progression within Visy. Management, staff, and everyone involved in the process have been nothing but supportive and accommodating. It’s a truly remarkable program and gets a big thumbs up from me. I tell everybody how fortunate I am to have had this opportunity.”
Given the success of the program, Visy Logistics is now looking at taking on a new batch of recruits for the second round of our in-house Female Driver Trainee program later this year, with programs potentially to run in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Stay tuned for details.
