Visy celebrates International Women’s Day

We’re proud of the work we’ve done to support our women to grow and develop across the business but we know there is more to do.  

In the lead up to International Women's Day we spoke to some of our employees about what the day means to them:

Our Women in Leadership and Operations (WILO) aims to support, encourage, and educate all women at Visy. Members network, develop their professional skills, and drive initiatives to promote inclusivity and supportive work environments.   

Initiated by Co-owner Fiona Geminder and supported by Chief Human Resources Officer Amy Walker, the group is growing with over 160 members. 

On International Women’s Day, WILO is holding an event with Visy’s own Fiona MacLeod, General Manager Visy Board (NSW) to help build their skills to have difficult conversations, go for promotions and new roles. WILO is also supporting the Fistula Foundation on the day by supplying copies of Fearless Girls Write the World Notebooks to its members.
